the best nude lip balm: lumene true passion lip color

i have been seeking a product that would be more pigmented than the clarins´ lip perfectors (my favorite lip glosses) but still not a lipstick. last week my search was ended when i accidentally found lumene's true passion lip color in shade "1 natural light" (valon leikki).

the formula is lovely soft and smooth, very good choice for someone who suffers from dry lips! the color is intensive, but since the color is light, it is very easy to apply even without lip liner.

because of it's moisturising formula it doesn't last as well as normal lipsticks, but it is a great and easy everyday color - what i was looking for. mainly the true passion lip color range consists of pink, orange and red shades.

it doesn't even break your wallet, the price (in finland) is 13,90€.

lumene CC color correcting cream

i think the name of this product is a bit confusing. first you think its a CC cream, but then in the small print there is written foundation. and there is also a long list what the product claims to be: foundation, primer, concealer, long lasting, SPF 20 and make the skin radiant. 

my sample shade is medium.

i can almost underline all of those claims. i have a bit redness and the product color corrects well, but i needed to put extra concealer on pimples.

 the formula is medium coverage what suits perfectly for me - my face needs covering but i don't want it to look too caked. the formula is also perfect balance of creaminess and matte. its not too moisturising that it would make my face look "oily", but not that mattifying it would make my skin look dull. actually i think this foundation makes my skin look nicely luminous.

 i agree that the foundation is long lasting but people who have combination or oily skin will need to put a real primer. i also appreciate SPF in the summer.

over all a really great foundation for really affordable price! this became my second favorite foundation after lancome's teint miracle. price in finland 16,50€.

lumene raspberry miracle shine lipstick "107 hot day"

easy everyday lipstick, when you want just a little bit of color. super moisturising formula and sheer pigment.

mac matte lipstick "lady danger"

in this picture the lipstick looks a bit too orange what it is, eventhough it is orange toned red.. lady danger is one of my favorite lipsticks, eventhough i would prefer that the formula would be other than matte. i recommend this if you are fan of bright reds.

rimmel lasting finish by kate lipstick "01"

this lipstick is more darker and browner toned red and that's why i like to wear it in the autumn/winter time. it lasts well on the lips, but it also feels moisturising and soft. i'm not sure if this lipstick is sold anymore in finland, at least it wasn't in the rimmel finland site.

maybelline color elixir "505 signature scarlet"

my absolutely favourite lip gloss! it has really great pigment without feeling sticky on the lips. only minus i would say is the fragrance, because its quite strong.

lumene color correcting & blurring primer

i admit, i have not been really good using primer for the whole face, but that's because i hadn't found the perfect match for me. now i think i'm pretty close.

few months ago i got a bunch of sample bags from lumene and one of them was the color correcting & blurring primer. i have tried a few blurring primers and they have all been too mattifying for me and they make my skin look dry. why i like this primer is that it's lighter than others. the feeling in the skin is still silky, but it's not too mattifying. the formula is nude color and it should make the skin more evenly colored, but i wouldn't say it's doing that much.

this look inspired by marilyn monroe is one of my favorites and i use it really often. in the video i show makeup suitable for every day use - if you are going to a costume party you might want to do it more dramatic. do the eyes with more contrast and add the beauty mark on top of your lip.
