my lipstick and lipgloss collection part 9/9 dark
(part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part 8)
so now we have come to the final part of my lip products collection! bold dark colors.
dior addict extreme lipstick "987 black tie"
i was actually lucky with this one, i was looking for red wine shade lipstick and i found this on discount with 10€. this is one of my favorites, the lipstick is so easy to apply to the lips because of the moisturising texture. even if its super soft and creamy, there is still tons of pigment. i wouldn't recommend to a person who wants long lasting though.
price: not sure but probably ~40€
sensai the lipstick "15 murasaki"
bought this one from an outlet with -50% when i was looking for darker shade lipstick. the formula is super pigmented and long lasting but the finish is still shiny thanks to the gold particles. i haven't use this lipstick for a while because its actually too brown to my liking.
price: 50,50€
mac matte lipstick "diva"
this lipstick i bought because i wanted something similar than the sensai lipstick but more red toned. in these pictures there is maybe not so much difference, but diva is certainly more dark red and sensai's murasaki more brown. also diva's formula is really pigmented and long lasting, but the texture is matte.
price: 20,50€

my lipstick and lip gloss collection part 6/9 light pinks
(part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5)
when i started wearing lipsticks they use to always be pink - in total i have 14 pink lip products, so i decided to divide it in lighter and darker pinks. the irony is that nowadays i rather wear anything else than pink :D
(what is in top of that max factor lipstick???)
the body shop lip & cheek velvet stick "20 poppy pink"
it's not as crazy pink as the lipstick below, so this lip & cheek stick is in my weekly use. also the matte finish makes it look more modern - but the matte finish is also a minus, because if you have any dryness in the lips, it shows and the color doesn't apply evenly. price: 14,90€
maybelline color sensational vivids "900 pink pop"
this barbie pink color is definitely hard to pull off, it doesn't suit for everyone or with every make up look. i usually pair this lipstick with bold eyeliner to make the look more modern and less bimbo. price: 9,60€
rimmel colour show off lipstick "020 shake-up pink"
this lipstick used to be my absolute favorite, in 2012 it was probably the only lipstick that i wore. i like this kind of peachy undertoned color. i think rimmel has quit the colour show off lipstick range so unfortunately its not available anymore.
max factor colour elixir lipstick "625 magenta divine"
my least favorite lipstick from the pinks, i think it's because it has a little bit frost in it. definitely a miss purchase, i don't recall if i have even used this. price: 12,50€
the body shop colour crush lipstick "225 blushing pink"
a great pink lipstick for someone that isn't comfortable with bright colors, because this one is really near the actual lip colour. the formula is super moisturising, and the lipstick lasts okay, but not as good as some. price: 13,90€
sensai the lipstick "08 araishu"
my second favorite from the lighter pinks. the lipstick is super long lasting, but it also glides well to the lips when applying and feels moisturising. i would never use this much money on a lipstick, but i bought this from an outlet with few euro, because it was meant to be a tester. i think they don't make this shade anymore.
price: 50,50€
the body shop lip gloss "45 watermelon"
the body shop lip glosses are juicy and they smell amazing, but they don't have a lot of pigment. they don't feel too sticky on the lips, and they also have a lot of moisturising ingredients. i usually use this lip gloss on top of pink lipstick. price: 13,80€

sensai mascara 38°C separating & lengthening
i'm a bit boring sometimes - when i find a good product i tend to use it continuously for a long time and then i don't try new products.. i have used isadora's volume & curl mascara over a year now, so when my current one was finishing before the barcelona trip, i saw the opportunity to buy something from tax free.
i'm sure i have tried sensai's separating & lengthening mascara many years ago, since sensai's mascaras were all that i used before. i would say this product is good every day mascara for someone who wants more lenght in their eyelashes. im not so sure about the separating though (just check the pictures..). on the plus side, it lasts really well all day - compared to the isadora's that crumbs.. it is also super easy to remove, the 38C in the name means you need just warm water to remove it. i think the texture is fine, not too runny, so its easy to build with adding more coats. the brush is well sized for effortless use, though nowadays i prefer curved brush better.
my bare eyelashes
one coat of sensai's separating & lengthening mascara
two coats of sensai's separating & lengthening mascara
the normal price of this mascara is 29,50€, so 12€ more than the isadora's what i have been using. mascara is a makeup product that you purchase several times per year compared to other makeup products, so even i like this product, i don't think i will repurchase it.
